Paul has chosen to make a difference through the commercialization of technology in medical science. A graduate of McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Business, he has worked in the biotechnology industry introducing game changing technology in healthcare. In 2014, Paul introduced consumer genetic testing for health and wellness in Canada. Paul acquired a patented technology from McMaster University to calculate genetic prediction scores. GeneBlueprint is the first genetic testing company to offer advanced polygenic risk scores for health and wellness. The technology is based on a patented algorithm published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Utilizing this technology, GeneBlueprint went on to conduct the first randomized clinical trial where they successfully proved genetic information helped participants reach their health and fitness goals and thus reduce risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity.
