  • As a Performance Therapist we work to remove restrictions from joints and tissues to allow proper movement to occur. When joints are not in the optimal alignment and tissues are too tight, movement can become impeded. This can create an environment where muscles and joints are doing too much work. We work with our athletes to create unrestricted ranges of motion. During the process we discover what is the best direction to free up the muscles and joints. This information guides our therapy and preparatory strategies to optimize training and performance.

    During this workshop we will go over the most common issue we see in the clinic - tight overhead shoulder position. We will cover the biomechanics of the shoulder, how we create more joint space, reinforce better joint positions and teach our athletes how to maintain them.
